Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy
Version: 12 October 2026. These terms apply to private tour bookings where expressly accepted by the client and confirmed in writing.
Reservations
Submitting an inquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking. Your itinerary, included services, total price, payment schedule and any specific conditions will be agreed in writing. A deposit of 30% of the agreed price is generally requested to confirm a reservation; the exact amount is stated in your quotation. For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment may be requested.
Balance & Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the balance is due 30 days before departure. Visa and Mastercard payments may be offered through an approved secure payment provider once available. Bank transfer instructions are shared privately when needed. Never send card numbers or CVV codes by email.
Private Tours & Services
Journeys are personalized for individuals, couples, families and private groups. Only services expressly listed in the confirmed quotation are included. International flights, lunches, drinks, admission tickets, tips and personal expenses are excluded unless explicitly included.
Cancellation by the Client
Proposed cancellation charges, calculated on the confirmed total tour price:
- More than 30 days before departure: 10%.
- 15–30 days before departure: 30%.
- 8–14 days before departure: 50%.
- 3–7 days before departure: 75%.
- Less than 72 hours before departure or no-show: 100%.
These charges are subject to applicable law. Refunds are calculated against amounts actually paid; any applicable third-party non-refundable charges must be disclosed and must not be charged twice. Any cancellation must be communicated in writing.
Changes & Cancellation by Guided by Abdul
Significant itinerary changes will be discussed where possible. If Guided by Abdul cancels and no acceptable alternative is agreed, payments for services not provided will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.
